Helping Rural Families

April 29, 2016

On this episode we speak to an empowering woman who is passionate about raising the profile of women in agriculture, and assisting rural families through an organisation that is close to her heart.

Through a life-changing experience of her own, Annette Reid founded Rural Help at Hand, a program to support regional and rural families facing city hospitalisations.  Annette is also the President of Tasmanian Women in Agriculture and a former state winner of the RIRDC Rural Women’s Award.

She tells Kendi Burness-Cowan about her passion for farming, families and community.
