Indigenous Education

April 28, 2016
Wrapping up our month of celebrating indigenous culture and achievements is our interview with Corey Grech.

Corey is an educator who grew up in Coonabarabran NSW and now works on the Central Coast of NSW. He focuses his education on keeping the indigenous culture alive and empowering kids to become as resilient and self-reliant as they can.

Corey also talks us through his work with Kool Purple Kookas, a long-term program that helps kids understand bush tucker and the Care for Kids Ears campaign to raise awareness of ear disease and hearing loss in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Corey is truly being the change he wants to see in the world.
