Promoting Regional Employment

July 14, 2016

This week we continue to explore the topic of regional employment as we speak to Shane Kelly, owner of Kelly Engineering in Booleroo South Australia.

The company started over 25 years ago, when Shane’s father, a serial tinkerer, started building agricultural implements for neighbouring farmers.
Since then Kelly Engineering has grown to achieve international success and employs 55 locals during peak season in a community of 3,000.

Shane tells Kendi how a passion for doing things better evolved into a global success story and why Kelly Engineering looks for people with the right working attitude, rather than just the right skill set.
