In this episode of Regional Voices we talk to a bright, young entrepreneur who brings together his indigenous heritage, his law degree and his interest in agriculture to help shape a future for regional Australia. Joshua Gilbert is a Worimi man from the Mid North Coast of NSW. He is currently studying law at the University of Newcastle and works for PwC’s indigenous consulting team.
His connection with his heritage and the land is what drives him to create solid outcomes for indigenous people in Australia. Josh’s strong connection to the land has another dimension in his passion for agriculture. In 2014, he was the Chair of the NSW Young Farmers Council and he has used that role to contribute to agriculture in Australia.
