Women in Aviation

April 29, 2016

On this episode we hear from Tammy Augostin who remembers climbing into a small plane as a four year old with a packed lunch and taking off on her first flight. Today she’s a commercial pilot based out of Bathurst.
Tammy is the National President of Women in Aviation International Australia and is the first woman to hold the L39 Albatros jet rating in Australia.
She tells Kendi Burness-Cowan about establishing education pathways into aviation and how a love of flying turned into the career of a lifetime.
